An Actuary is a business professional who deals with the financial impact of risk and uncertainty. Actuaries have a deep understanding of Mathematics, Probability, Statistics, Finance, Risk Management, and the Insurance industry. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team are also critical components of a successful actuary. There are various actuarial certification tracks. 

Stop by one of our meetings to see what being an actuary is all about. Members will have the opportunity to develop professionally as employers, recruiters, and other professionals discuss the many job and internship opportunities made available to students. The club is open to students of all majors and academic backgrounds who have an interest in furthering their academic and professional careers. Whether you've never heard of an actuary before or you're already on your way to your ASA/ACAS, the Actuarial Science Club has something for you!
