Glenn Rogers

A retired orthodontist, Glenn A. Rogers is a native of Big Spring, Texas, and has lived in Midland since 1965. Rogers graduated from The University of Texas with a Plan II major. He received his D.D.S. and M.S.D. degrees from the Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. His wife, Louan, was also a graduate of UT and served on the College of Liberal Arts Advisory Council until her death in 2020.

Rogers has served on the College of Natural Sciences Advisory Council since 1987 and as Chairman 2012-2014.  He also served on The University of Texas at Austin’s Texas Memorial Museum Advisory Council, the West Texas Leadership Council, the Chancellor’s Council Executive Committee, the Littlefield Society and the UT Development Board. He is also on the board of governors for the Midland Memorial Hospital Foundation and the Museum of the Southwest. In 2015, Glenn was a CNS Hall of Honor Distinguished Service award recipient.

The Rogers have two sons. Robert, a UT graduate, is an attorney in Dallas, and David, a graduate of Texas A&M University and a district judge in Midland.  The Rogers have five grandchildren.
