Jennifer Glasgow is a trusted advisor to both large and small enterprises about the ethical use of data.  After retiring from Acxiom Corporation where she lead their global information use policies, legal compliance, consumer affairs, government affairs and related public relations for over 40 years, she stepped into the role of Executive Vice President for Compliance, Chief Privacy Officer and Chief Security Officer at First Orion Corp., a rapidly growing company who enables business to deliver digitally-enhanced and interactive phone communication backed by industry-leading scam call protection services.

 

As a thought and practice leader in privacy and security , she is very active in numerous international efforts to develop effective public policy with maximum harmonization across the world.  She is sought out by businesses, policy makers, and government agencies for her views and has testified numerous times before Congress. 

She is also active on several industry boards and councils, and serves as Finance Chair for the Information Accountability Foundation. Glasgow received the Vanguard award from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), the highest recognition given by the association of over 50,000 members worldwide for her leadership, knowledge and involvement in the profession.

Glasgow earned her degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin and is active there as a member of the College of Natural Science Advisory Council.  She was also been elected to the Arkansas Academy of Computing.
