Ralph T. Hull, a native Houstonian, received his degrees in business administration in 1969 and law in 1972 from The University of Texas at Austin. He is a third generation UT Law graduate. While an undergraduate, he met his future wife, Jennie Mackenzie, who graduated from The University with a Bachelor of Science in history and international studies in 1969. 

Mr. Hull practiced law for four years after graduation and has been a full time investor since that time. For 25 years his primary activity involved small Houston-area banks. His service to the The University of Texas System is extensive.  He was the founding chair of the College of Natural Sciences Advisory Council and is currently an honorary member; he is a member of the Advisory Councils for UT Austin’s athletics programs and a life member of the Red McCombs College of Business. Hull has been active in various Houston civic organizations and is currently a member of The University of Texas Health Science Center Advisory Council in Houston.

The Hulls have two sons.  Ralph, Jr., attended UT and graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in agricultural economics, while Mark graduated from UT with a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance and earned his Masters of Business Administration from NYU Stern School of Business.
