Dr. Thai Vuu was born in Saigon, Vietnam, and was sponsored to America when he was 2 years old. His family initially settled in Pennsylvania and then moved to Sugar Land, TX in 1990. Dr. Vuu graduated from Dulles High School and attended Eastern Mennonite University. He subsequently moved back to Houston and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Dental Branch in 2005. Dr. Vuu graduated at the top of his Dental School class and was elected to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. Following Dental School, he was accepted into the dual-degree Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program at the University of Texas Dental Branch. As part of his training, Dr. Vuu received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Texas at Houston Medical School in 2009 and completed a one-year General Surgery Internship at the same institution. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a partner at Memorial Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with offices in Memorial, Katy, and Cypress.

Dr. Vuu and his wife, Tu Pham, have two children, Nathan and Natalie, who attend Spring Branch Middle School. In his spare time Dr. Vuu likes to hang out with his family, run, bike, swim, watch sports, and work on his golf game. He and his wife also love traveling, going to new restaurants, and trying different foods.
