Aaron Zimmerman works on several aspects of gravitational wave data analysis and gravitational wave modeling. As a member of the LIGO Scientific Collaboration, he co-chairs the working group responsible for inferring the properties of binary sources of gravitational waves. He also investigates black hole ringdown, tests of relativity in the strong field regime, and numerical simulations of binary black holes.
