My main research interests involved estimating the properties of compact binary coalescences via gravitational wave radiation. As one of the main developers of RIFT (a parameter estimation algorithm), I am interested in not only estimating the properties of the signals detected by the LIGO-Virgo-KARGA Colloaboration, but I am also interested in potential sources of error that could bias our results. Specifically I am interested in understanding the systematic differences between different gravitational wave models as well as between models and numerical relativity. I also interested in understanding these waveform systematics in future detectors (i.e. Cosmic Explorer, Einstein Telescope, LISA).
