I'm a PhD student under the supervision of Dr. Thomas Juenger. My thing? Epigenetics, I'm all about how plants use epigenetic magic to handle the crazy ups and downs of their environment. Specifically, I investigate epigenetic mechanisms, particularly DNA methylation patterns, in Panicum virgatum and Panicum hallii species subjected to drought stress. My research interests are directed towards integrating next-generation sequencing methodologies to uncover the intricate interplay between epigenetic modifications and plant responses to environmental stressors. It's like plant biology meets cutting-edge technology, and I'm here for it!
