Specifically, I investigate epigenetic mechanisms, particularly DNA methylation patterns, in Panicum virgatum and Panicum hallii species subjected to drought stress. My research interests are directed towards integrating next-generation sequencing methodologies to uncover the intricate interplay between epigenetic modifications and plant responses to environmental stressors.
