Graduate Student

Frank is generally interested in the genetic mechanisms involved in speciation and reproductive isolation. For his M.S. he evaluated local adaptation and host use trade-offs in Enchenopa binotata, a treehopper species complex proposed to have diverged sympatrically through shifts to novel hosts. Currently he is attempting to develop AFLP markers for use in QTL mapping of Ipomopsis aggregata, and serving as the Jefe of the Juenger lab.
