Former Post-doc, started her lab at University of Florida from Fall, 2019.

I’m Grace John, a postdoctoral research in the Juenger lab at UT Austin. I am a plant ecophysiologist specializing in functional anatomy studying mechanisms driving the ability of plant to tolerate water stress.

I did my PhD at the University of California Los Angeles, with Lawren Sack focusing on urban tree water use efficiency and drought tolerance. My current work aims to characterize genetic drivers for variation in stress tolerance and plant structure and composition in Panicum virgatum (Switchgrass) with Tom Juenger.
