I worked in the Juenger Lab for about two years, starting as an REU student and later becoming a greenhouse and field tech. I focused on the ecological basis of the divergence between the Panicum hallii var. hallii and Panicum hallii var. filipes subspecies and on growing our library of genetic diversity for the group through field accession creation.

I am currently a PhD student advised by Rebecca E Irwin. My dissertation work focuses on the cost-benefit balance of floral rewards in several species of herbaceous perennials of the Western United States. My field work takes place at The Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory in Gothic, Colorado http://rmbl.org/.
