I am primarily working on the climate adaptation and sustainability in switchgrass (Panicum virgatum) project for the Juenger Lab. My focus will be to clonally replicate and propagate switchgrass genotypes that will be transplanted across broad environmental gradients to study ecotype divergence, local adaptation, and the spatial scale of genome-by-environment interaction. I am a recent graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Environmental Science and plan to pursue a graduate degree in the coming years.
