I am a Research Engineering Scientist Associate III in the Juenger lab. My research interests include promoting the sustainable agriculture system, studying plant microbe interactions and how these interactions impact the growth and development of the plant. I am conducting research involving the various aspects of the microbiome studies in Switchgrass (P. virgatum) and its close relative Hall’s panicum (P. hallii var filipes). I am studying how the host genetics and the microbe- microbe interactions shape the root microbiome assembly and how these interactions impact the overall process leading to a better understanding of the mechanisms governing the assembly and persistence.
