Undergraduate Research Assistants

Thank you for your interest in applying for an Undergraduate Research Assistant (RA) position with the Cognition, Health, and Aging, Research Team (CHART) in the department of Human Development and Family Sciences at the University of Texas, Austin.  

RA duties generally involve participating in community engagement events, participant recruitment, formatting questionnaires, testing data collection devices, participating in team meetings, and eventually transcribing/coding data. Research Assistants with strong communication skills, good punctuality, and good organizational skills are preferred. Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus, though not a requirement.

The requirements for applying to become an RA are at least a 3.0 GPA, and at least a 2 consecutive semester commitment. Undergraduate Research Assistants can be compensated with research course units (1 unit = 3 hours/week under HDF 355), and a performance-based letter of recommendation.
