Ashley Philpo is an electrophysiologist interested in how ion channel function is regulated, especially in relation to disorder or addiction. Ashley worked as a research technician in John Mihic's lab for several years before moving to the Aldrich lab. Currently, she is recording small conductance potassium (SK) channel currents in order to understand how SK is regulated by the calcium-sensor calmodulin.
