Brent Halling is a protein biophysicist carrying out research in the Aldrich lab since 2007. Brent obtained his PhD from Baylor College of Medicine, after which he continued his work in the ion channel field as a Research Associate in the Aldrich lab. He is particularly interested in mechanisms of channel modulation by calcium sensors. His current work involves the use of multi-angle light scattering to observe complex formation between a portion of the SK channel and its calcium-sensing regulator, calmodulin.
