Xixi Chen joined the Aldrich lab in the fall of 2006, with a background in cellular neurophysiology and seeking training in molecular biophysics. While in the lab, Xixi worked on the electrophysiology and biophysics of small-conductance, calcium-activated potassium (SK) channels.
