The Department of Physics at the University of Texas at Austin invites applications for multiple tenure-track faculty positions (subject to the availability of funding) at the Assistant Professor level. Candidates at the Associate Professor and full Professor level will be considered. Topical areas of immediate highest priority for recruiting are: condensed matter theory including soft condensed matter, gravitational physics, relativistic heavy ion physics, experimental particle physics, and plasma physics including basic, high-energy density, space, and controlled fusion plasmas.
