Habitat balance is essential to our coastal estuaries and oceans. Sargassum seaweed is just one important nursery habitats for young fishes, crabs, shrimp and other invertebrates, as well as endangered sea turtles. Join UTMSI scientists as they share their research about these floating nurseries and what impact the Deepwater Horizon oil spill had on them.
We will meet at 10am in the Exploer Lab at The Marine Science Education Center (855 E. cotter Ave. Port Aransas). Please RSVP to Nicole Pringle at firstname.lastname@example.org
