Tom was an undergraduate researcher and lab manager. He is currently a graduate student at the University of Southern California in their Molecular and Computational Biology program researching neuronal protein localization and neurological diseases.

Project description:

I investigate the regulation of multiple 3’ Untranslated Regions of Kaposi’s Sarcoma-associated Herpes Virus (KSHV) gene products. I’m also creating protocols and adapting existing protocols to search for novel DNA viruses.
