Naveen was an undergraduate researcher throughout his undergraduate career and is now working with a non-profit organization to raise funds and awareness for AIDS research.

Project Description: 

I am currently working on studying the effects of viral miRNAs on autophagy in the cell.

 

Biography:

I graduated as a Dean's Distinguished Graduate in the College of Liberal Arts with a degree in Plan II Honors. In May 2012 I was presented with the award of distinction from Phi Beta Kappa, inducted into the Friar Society, and won a grant from the Office of the Vice President for Research to fund our high school summer research experience the "Virology Internship Program."
