PyReconstruct is a modern update of Reconstruct, a program developed in the lab of Prof. Kristen Harris by Dr. John Fiala (more info below). PyReconstruct was conceptualized and written in 2022-2024 by Harris Lab members Julian Falco and Michael Chirillo, MD, PhD. Like Reconstruct, PyReconstruct allows users to trace and annotate images, thereby creating 3D reconstructions. Among many other quality of life improvements, PyReconstruct can be used on Windows, Mac, and Linux machines. The user interface as well as data structures have been modernized and simplified. System Requirements:
- 256 MB RAM, 500 MHz CPU
- Windows: Windows 10 and above
- Mac: macOS 12 and above
- Linux: X or Wayland windowing system
