The MBSA is a consortium of student organizations to promote interest in biochemistry, microbiology, molecular biology and related fields at the undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate student levels.

ASBMB and ASM are national organizations that promote research and education.  UT has student affiliates (ASBMB, ASM) that bring together students with interests in these areas for various activities.  The ICMB GSA provides a forum for graduate students in molecular bioscience graduate programs at UT (Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology, Microbiology) and MBS Post-doctoral association provides a forum for post-doctoral students in MBS laboratories.

Joint efforts of all the student organizations is an annual Fall Undergraduate Research Forum that gives undergraduate students the opportunity to talk about their research projects and hosting the Fall Family Day and the Spring UT Explore events to showcase research and fun science!
