Fennessey Ranch is in the heart of the Central Flyway along a region of the Texas coastline known as the Coastal Bend. More than 420 species of resident and migratory birds have been recorded on the Ranch, including painted buntings, green jays, swallow-tailed kites, white-tailed hawks, and bald eagles, just to name a few.
In addition to the world class birding opportunities, the 3,261-acre wildlife oasis is home to numerous species of plants, mammals, reptiles, insects, and amphibians. The Ranch has several custom-built wildlife viewing and photography blinds. Each blind is strategically placed in areas of high wildlife activity and generally near water sources.
