Join Our Team

Thank you for your interest in our research. We are often looking for talented and enthusiastic new team members. We welcome applications from interested students of all backgrounds and we highly value diversity in our research team. Many of the participants in our studies are Spanish-speakers so bilingual English/Spanish speakers are especially encouraged to apply.

If you are interested in joining the lab, please follow these instructions:

If you are interested in earning credit for a course not previously mentioned, please submit this application and specify what course that is.

2) Student Employee Position: Students who are fluent Spanish speakers are eligible for employment as a paid research assistant. This position is open to students with or without work-study.

Priority application deadlines are: April 15 for summer, July 15 for fall semester, and Nov 15 for spring semester. If you apply after these deadlines you will only be contacted if positions remain available, otherwise your application will be kept on file and you will be contacted the following semester.

Graduate Students

If you are interested in applying to the lab as a graduate student, first please check out the information on graduate admissions on the UT HDFS website. Next, take some time to read through our research and the publications on this site. If this is the type of research you are interested in doing, then you should state in your personal statement that you are interested in working with Dr. Williamson so that your application gets routed to her for review.
