Eligibility

To be eligible for participation in the Welch Summer Scholar Program, a student must meet the following criteria:

1. Applicant must be currently enrolled at a high school in Texas or home schooled in Texas.
2. Applicant must be a current sophomore or junior at the time of application. Current seniors (i.e. students who are seniors at the time of application) are NOT eligible to participate in the Welch Summer Scholar Program.

There are no course prerequisites associated with the program.
