INS Graduate Student Logan Becker awarded Chateaubriand Fellowship

July 1, 2024
Logan Becker, an INS graduate student in Dr. Thibaud Taillefumier's lab, was awarded a Chateaubriand Fellowship.  The fellowshiop will provide a stipend that will allow Logan to spend 4 months in France working in the lab of Dr. David Hansel at the Integrative Neuroscience and Cognition Center through CNRS, Université de Paris. During his stay he will be extending his thesis work on neural variability in biophysically relevant single-cell models at the network level with a goal of understanding how input spiking synchrony shapes subthreshold co-variability in neural populations, and how, in turn, this subthreshold co-variability impacts output spiking synchrony.
