Keep Austin Beautiful partners with the City of Austin's Watershed Protection Department to engage citizens in making a lasting commitment to protect our waterways by adopting a ΒΌ mile creek segment for a minimum of two years. Adopters conduct at least four cleans ups per year and complete restoration projects in an effort to reduce the amount of trash entering creeks, improve water quality, and restore habitats along waterways. The majority of Waller Creek is currently adopted (as of April 2018)
